The Val di Zoldo is the ideal place for everyone in all seasons:

The Val di Zoldo, in fact, is part of Ski Civetta, inserted in the Dolomiti Superski. The area offers 80 kilometers of slopes, equipped with snow-making facilities and with numerous ski lifts.

The uniqueness of these mountains, recognized by UNESCO, is in the beauty of the Dolomites’ landscape and the unique geological and geomorphological significance. It is considered as the best expression of the identity of the territory, as a synthesis between man and environment, activities and costumes, settled in these valleys over the centuries and where natural elements are essentials.
On 26 June 2009 Dolomites were inscribed in the list of the World Heritage thanks to their beauty and the unique geological and geomorphological significance. The UNESCO Convention for World Heritage establishes that cultural and natural heritage sites in various parts of the world and of universal importance must be preserved as a heritage of all humanity.
The inclusion of the Dolomites in the World Heritage list is an extraordinary recognition, but it also implies a strong responsibility regarding the protection and sustainable development of this splendid Alpine region.
Some excursions in Val di Zoldo and surroundings
In search of the dinosaur's footsteps
The climb to the foot of the Pelmetto, where you can discover the footprints of the dinosaurs. This is a site of international importance where, from the rocks of the Dolomites, you can see the footprints of the first dinosaurs that appeared on earth.
In addition there is the possibility to visit the beautiful Museo Vittorino Cazzetta, where you can find many thematic workshops fro children and adults. It is located a few kilometers from Val di Zoldo.
Lake Coldai
A beautiful excursion to one of the most fashinating lakes of the Dolomites: the easier starting point is Palafavera where, through a chair lift, or even on foot on a very comfortable dirt path, you reach the Pioda hut.
From there, through a military mule track that crosses a promontory, you go up until the Rifugio Coldai.
After a short stop, through the Forcella Coldai, you will be enchanted by the visione of the Lage Coldai, surrounded by meadows rich in flowers and majestic rocks.
A wonderful excursion, easy, suitable also for children.
Warning! Along the path you sharpen the view well, because there will be many marmots that you can spot.
Snowshoeing
The Val di Zoldo offers many routes for snowshoes, suitable for children and adults, immersed in the wood to reach unforgettable landscapes.
You can choose: snowshoes to mountain hut Città di Fiume, mountain hut Carestiato, from Coi to Mandre.
Accompanied by our Alpine guides, you can enjoy also a snowshoes hike at the moonlight, a unique and exciting experience.
Horseback excursions
Some routes of the Val di Zoldo are easily practicable by horseback.
Between postcard views of the bell tower of Mareson and the village with its wooden houses, between the views of the Pelmo and the Civetta, you will be lulled by the rocking of your horse and the intense but sweet sound of the water.

The museums of our valley offer the possibility to know the culture of the mountain, where history, traditions and folklore meet together.
You will find the Iron and Nail Museum in Forno di Zoldo, the Museum of Crafts, Uses and Costumes in Val di Goima, the Ethnographic museum “Al Poiat” a Zoppe’ di Cadore, the Messner Mountain Museum with 360 ° panorama of the Dolomites.
In the entire province of Belluno, few kilometers from Val di Zoldo, you have a network museums to explore the culture and history of the mountain.
Shopping
One of the point of interest for the sopping lovers is Cortina, famous for its beauty and its Alpine style.
We suggest you to rech through the beautiful and panoramic Passo Giau, where you can admire the Pearl of the Dolomites.
About an hour’s drive from Val di Zoldo you can indulge your shopping in the suggestive Corto Italia, which will amaze you with its uniqueness of mountain products.
Venice

Among the most beautiful cities in the world, UNESCO World Heritage Site together with its lagoon, Venice, the Serenissima, leaves all its visitors speechless.
